I recall being distinctly freaked out when my grandmother prepared a cow’s tongue. I did not eat it. 🙂
Goodness. I hope the people who ate this lot went off for a day digging holes or labouring in the fields. They’d be pretty enormous if not. Those breakfasts! And some dishes served with cream???!!!
I have never eaten brains and don’t think I will.
