Since it was another slow day for Grandma, I’d like to tell you about my latest blogging adventure.
I’ve enjoyed occasionally sharing hundred-year-old fashion pictures with you. I’ve found lots of pictures in old magazines—and can’t possibly use all of them on this site since Grandma only occasionally mentioned clothes or shopping.
I decided that it would be fun to feature a one-hundred-old fashion each day, so I started a new blog called Fashion A Hundred Years Ago.
You might want to check it out if you enjoy looking at the old fashions.

looks like it will be fun Sheryl.
I’ve been having a lot of fun! 🙂
I like the idea!
Thanks!
You’ll probably have a great time with the new blog … and be a busy blogger!
You’re right! Though I think that the new one will take less time than this one, so I think that I’ll have time to do both. It’s quicker to post a picture or two than to write text.
very cool – will check it out
I think you’ll like it.
I did – amazing outfits but I keep thinking it must have taken them some time to get dressed
I’ve always loved clothes from previous centuries! What a fantastic idea for a blog. I can’t wait to see it. It will also be interesting to see how different clothes may or may not have been between yours and my countries in different eras. 🙂
My guess is that they’d be similar–but you’ll have to let me know.
I think you’re probably right, but time will tell. I’m loving it so far. 🙂
I too have always enjoyed seeing the fashions of long ago. I always try and picture my grandmother dressed in these fashions and I just can’t do it!! By 1912 she was newly married and my eldest aunt was just born. I look forward to visiting your new page. Blessings – Patty
Fashions sure changed during the lifetime of our grandmothers.
Very nice website, the fashions are lovely and elegant can’t wait to see more!
Thank you!
Fun stuff, love your new site…I’m such an old soul when it comes to fashion…wish I had a time machine.
I’m not sure whether I’m an old soul when it comes to fashion or an out-of-touch soul. I always think that I’m several years behind whatever is the latest fashion.
